Best Admirals Club at DCA Airport [2024]
Being the Nation’s Capital, there is no shortage of lounge options at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). There are currently 5 airline lounges, three of which are an American Airlines Admirals Club.
Earlier this month I had an extended layover in Washington D.C. so I decided to make the most of it by hitting up each of the Admirals Clubs at DCA (this was the return part of my trip where I also visited all of the Admirals Clubs at DFW).
Concourse E Admirals Club (near Gate E46)
The Concourse E Admirals Club is one of American Airline’s newest Admirals Clubs, featuring a modern design and a beautiful center fireplace that overlooks Concourse E at DCA. It is one of my favorite lounges! This lounge is also the most spacious at DCA – there is plenty of space to relax, work, or enjoy a drink at the full-service bar.

Concourse C Admirals Club (near Gate C24)
The Concourse C Admirals Club is best if you have a short connection and are flying out of Concourse C. It has the same vibe as the Concourse D Admirals Club, with great outside views of the gates. There is a quiet area and two other large seating areas.

Concourse D Admirals Club (near Gate D36)
The Concourse D Admirals Club is perfectly fine and is best if you are flying out of Concourse D with a short connection. It is similar to the Concourse C Admirals Club but larger. The views of the planes outside are fantastic!

Closing Thoughts
There is no shortage of lounge options at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), and that is especially true if you are flying American Airlines. American Airlines has three different Admirals Club lounges at this airport. While most would agree that the brand new Concourse E Admirals Club is the best Admirals Club at DCA, the Concourse C and Concourse D Admirals Clubs can be solid choices, especially of Concourse E is particularly busy.
