Best Hyatt Hotels in Las Vegas [Updated 2024]
Hyatt hotels are a popular choice for points enthusiasts, thanks to low redemption rates and easy ways to earn World of Hyatt points via Chase. For years, there have been great choices for Hyatt hotels in Las Vegas thanks to their partnership with MGM Resorts. Unfortunately, that partnership ended on September 30, 2023, which drastically reduced Hyatt’s footprint in Sin City.
There are currently only two hotel Hyatt hotels in Las Vegas that are fully integrated with World of Hyatt. The other, Rio Hotel & Casino, is in early stages of redevelopment and will eventually be converted into multiple Hyatt concepts.
The Best Hyatt Hotels in Las Vegas
Hyatt Place Las Vegas
Hyatt Place Las Vegas is currently the best hotel in Las Vegas if you need to be close to the Strip. It is located near Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, and about 2 miles from The LINQ. While the hotel offers free breakfast and a pool area, the property feels somewhat dated and they charge $8 per night for parking as well. I would choose this Hyatt primarily for its location.

Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village
Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village is a newer hotel located south of the Las Vegas Strip at the Silverton Casino complex. It is about a 10-minute drive from Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). There isn’t much going on around this hotel, but it does offer free parking, free breakfast, and a relaxing pool area which makes it a solid option if you are looking for a quiet place.

Rio Hotel & Casino
Rio Hotel & Casino is the newest member of the Hyatt family in Vegas. The complex is currently undergoing a $350 million renovation, which started in August 2023, to convert one tower to a Hyatt Regency. The rest of the property will also eventually be part of Hyatt as well, but those plans haven’t been announced yet. Rio Hotel & Casino is bookable at Hyatt.com, and now, as of March 2024, is accepting World of Hyatt reward night redemptions.

Rio History: Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, commonly known as the Rio, is a popular hotel and casino located off the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It opened in 1990 and features a Brazilian carnival theme throughout its facilities. The Rio is renowned for its spacious suites, diverse dining options, lively atmosphere, and vibrant nightlife, including its famed VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub offering panoramic views of the Las Vegas skyline. Additionally, the Rio hosts numerous events and entertainment shows, attracting visitors seeking a dynamic Las Vegas experience outside the traditional Strip. Rio is poised to be the most “Vegas-style” Hyatt property once it is fully converted.
Closing Thoughts
Unfortunately, Hyatt’s footprint is currently lacking in Sin City. While Hyatt is currently working with Rio Hotel & Casino on an impressive renovation, there are currently only two options if you want to redeem World of Hyatt points for a free stay (both Hyatt Place hotels). Hyatt Place Las Vegas has the best location and Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village is the nicest property. I’m looking forward to checking out Rio once that project is complete, and hope Hyatt continues to work to expand their portfolio in Las Vegas.
