Rewards are offered as cash-back in the form of e-gift cards (not actual cash like Rakuten and others) to a variety of popular merchants including Lowe’s, Home Depot, Macy’s, Staples, Ulta, and Kohl’s.

Closing Thoughts
This is honestly a great offer! I highly recommend signing up for Capital One Shopping if you haven’t already. It is better than the previous Rakuten sign-up bonus we saw a few weeks ago but the only downside is that Capital One Shopping only offers gift card redemptions (not real cash or Amex Membership Rewards points like Rakuten offers). While I usually use Rakuten because I like the ability to get Amex MR points, I consider using other portals like Capital One Shopping and AAdvantage eShopping when elevated cash back is offered.
