T-Mobile launched Magenta Status on February 7th, which gives T-Mobile customers access to several new discounts and experiences, in addition to the perks offered through their wireless plan and T-Mobile Tuesday offers via the T-Life app, which have been around for years.
With the launch of Magenta Status, T-Mobile now partners with brands like Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Dollar and Hetrtz rental cars, and Live Nation with unique offers for T-Mobile customers.
At launch, the new benefits of T-Mobile Magenta Status include:
- Up to 15% off stays at Hilton hotels and Hilton Honors Silver Status through March 31st, 2025
- Waived refueling and recharging fees for rental car returns at Dollar and Hertz rental cars
- $5 tickets to a major motion picture every single month
- Up to 25% off tickets to shows at Live Nation amphitheaters and select clubs and venues
In addition, T-Mobile will continue to offer discounts for T-Mobile Tuesday, via the T-Life app, which are a popular customer perk. This includes discounted fuel at Shell and freebies from Little Caesars.
Who is eligible for Magenta Status?
Most T-Mobile customers are eligible. This includes T-Mobile post-paid customers (including small businesses) and most T-Mobile prepaid customers. Enterprise accounts do not appear to be eligible at this time.
Closing Thoughts
I just signed up for T-Mobile and love what I’m experiencing so far. I switched from Verizon. While T-Mobile has gotten heat over the last few years after their merger with Sprint, they offer great value (especially for military members) and Magenta Status adds to that. While I already have Diamond status with Hilton, offering free Hilton Honors Silver Status and waived fees with Dollar and Hertz rental cars is generous. It will be interesting to see what offers are added in the future and how T-Mobile Magenta Status and T-Mobile Tuesday will continue to evolve.
